Herbs in the Window
We had some herbs in our kitchen window that were in the pots they came in when we bought them, and they weren't very nice. This weekend, we went to Bauhaus, which is basically a foreign (German) Home Depot, and bought a window box and some potting soil, so that the plants could grow in the sun on our kitchen window sill.

Only half an hour after we had potted the plants in their new home, the basil, which was drooping over the edge of its pot, was standing almost straight up, and the coriander, which had turned a little bit yellow was back to it's original bright green.
Bauhaus must have some awesome, bionic potting soil!

How's the school thing going? Is herb growing a part of your curriculum?
Nice herb garden, Jacob! You've inspired me to replant my basil from the crappy little plastic container it came in. I don't want to be like Rian, with a bunch of crap lying around everywhere.
awesome idea tara, yeah you deffinately don't want to be like rian.
no the herbs are just something for the flat not part of the school curriculum. I am learning the fine art of eat the most delicious cake of all time, Medovnik, every day and for every meal (snacks too). Also I'm learning Czech and French at the school my mom works at.
Francais es tres facile, me petite pamplemousse.
Hey, where's the photo essay of long short dogs? I've been sitting in front of the computer for a week hitting refresh, and I'm growing weak.
look at it this way, your index finger will be REALLY strong after a while, either that or you'll get just carpal tunnel in it.
